Featuring petrochemical processing technologies at the 20th International Processing Trade Fair (IPB) 2023 in Shanghai
Rieckermann recently made an appearance at the 20th International Processing Trade Fair for Powder, Bulk Solids, and Fluids (IPB 2023) together with their local strategic partner in the Oil & Gas Industry, MESNAC. Their dynamic presence at the show was marked by their latest machinery offerings intended for various segments of the petrochemical processing and bulk handling sectors.
Their dedicated showcase featured innovative technology solutions, such as pneumatic conveying systems, de-duster systems, rotary valves, diverter valves and pellbows, etc., all of which gained significant attention. These offerings provide customized conveying solutions and dust removal to ensure the high quality of the resulting product, meeting the demands of various bulk handling processes. The rotary valves for powder applications were another notable highlight, underlining Rieckermann’s commitment to providing optimized solutions for bulk and powder handling processes, with increased profitability, efficiency, and quality of the end products.
As an affirmation of the company’s complete and wide-ranging process solutions, visitors were given the opportunity to observe several industry demonstrations on-site. These consisted of the dust removal from granular products and a technology presentation focusing on wear-resistant elbows for pellet conveying systems. These demonstrations gave visitors valuable insights into one of the essential steps in the handling and processing of bulk materials.
Also present at the exhibition, and playing a pivotal role, were Rieckermann’s expert representatives from their China Oil & Gas team. With in-depth know-how, the team shared their insights with many of their diverse visitors, consisting of representatives from the rubber, lithium battery, plastics processing, compounding extrusion, and food industries. Their booth was kept very busy with these customer contacts, generating interest that led to meaningful discussions and potential future collaborations.

The IPB 2023 exhibition was jointly organized by the Chinese Society of Particuology (CSP) and Nürnberg Messe China Co., Ltd. (NMC). It was held from July 31 to August 2, 2023, at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, Hall 2. Regarded as China’s leading “one-stop shop” exhibition for powder and bulk solids, the event proved a platform for Rieckermann to demonstrate their commitment to providing high-quality solutions that address the evolving needs of the processing industry.
