Rieckermann is delighted to participate in Drupa 2024 at Messe Duesseldorf, bringing together their team of industry printing experts from seven countries, including Malaysia and Vietnam. Along with their industry partners, the company presented several key printing technologies for visitors at the show.
In particular, this was the first Drupa edition where Rieckermann presented themselves as a comprehensive solution provider, despite having participated in the event several times before. As such, this year’s showcase emphasized not only their core machinery, but also the peripheral aspects essential to project success. These included their full engineering solutions and wide-ranging technical services.
The Rieckermann technology portfolio centered around high-end rotogravure and flexo printing machines, focusing on cost-effectiveness, quick job changeovers, and highly flexible configurations. They detailed how these technologies can help reduce costs, improve productivity, and deliver exceptional print quality. In addition, their offerings included:
- Lamination: Delivering the same flexibility and high quality as the printing machines
- Exhaust solvent recovery: Providing solutions to become both green and profitable
- Washing & solvent recycling: Ensuring consistent print quality and automating processes
Their presentation also highlighted various strategies to enhance the efficiency and profitability of existing flexible packaging converters.
Another key topic discussed at Drupa was industry sustainability, which covered the opportunities and challenges presented by new and upcoming environmental regulations. To this end, the company’s unique solutions can assist converters in meeting sustainability targets while simultaneously reducing production costs and enhancing process automation.
Throughout the show, Rieckermann recorded an impressive number of engagements with visitors through their partners’ booths, which consisted of HP, Kohli, Soma, DEC Group, and Zhoutai Machine.
Drupa, held from May 28 to June 7, 2024, is the leading trade fair for the printing industry and the longest-running industrial trade show in the world. The event marked the culmination of an extensive world tour with stops in India, Japan, Tunisia, Algeria, and many more.
