FUEL FOR AN ALTERNATIVE FUTURE

Alternative fuels such as biodiesel and bioethanol are used in many countries in different blends – from E5 and E10, up to E100.

Biodiesel production starts by pressing and then treating oil using techniques including esterification and distillation. A by-product of this process – glycerin – can be sent to an integrated distillation plant to produce pharmaceutical grade glycerin. This glycerin is also used as a green feedstock in the petrochemical industry. For more information, please see also Oil & Gas – Petrochemicals

We supply complete Bioethanol plants and offer machine refurbishments to manage liquid and solid waste streams for biogas production, or for the purification of CO2 from fermentation processes.
