Exhibition
The oleochemical industry is a sustainable and growing sector. Feedstocks for oleochemical processes originate from renewable resources like oils and fats based on soybeans, sunflowers, rapeseed, or palm oil. Derived oleo products are widely used in the transportation and food sectors. Additionally, highly valuable and so far, fossil-based chemical intermediates can be manufactured via oleochemical processes. It follows that the oleochemical industry offers a promising potential for drop-in or disruptive, renewable, and economically attractive processes.
Within the chemical industry a large number of plants use well established fossil-based processes. Consequently, a major challenge for the introduction of oleochemical approaches is how they are to be implemented in connection with the existing local infrastructure. Accordingly, drop-in and disruptive renewable technologies must be selected carefully with a view to their economic and ecological aspects.
Our goal is to provide you with an environmentally friendly and holistic solution that is profitable at the same time, meeting both economic and ecological requirements. That is why we have been investigating global and local markets for many decades, so as to set up an oleochemical portfolio with carefully selected and globally leading partners. With a focus on the manufacturing and treatment of glycerol and its downstream products, Rieckermann is proud to offer highly integrated technologies for disruptive, cost-friendly, and innovative processes.
