Rieckermann recently co-hosted the EU GMP Annex 1 Sterile Production Tech seminar with industry partner, Akeso in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China. The two-day event brought together industry leaders and experts, featuring collaborations with prominent industry players such as Bausch+Ströbel, Atec, SKAN, Harro Höfliger, and Nikka.
On the first day, participants delved into the latest advancements in EU GMP Annex 1. Key topics included:
- The impact of isolator technology
- Strategies for effective sterile packaging
- Innovations in producing both toxic and non-toxic products
The agenda also covered discussions on biopharmaceutical environmental monitoring, sterile compliance, container leak detection, and the latest trends in auto-injector assembly. Featured speakers shared valuable insights, sparking vibrant discussions among attendees.
The following day, attendees had the opportunity to tour Akeso’s state-of-the-art facility, which demonstrated the company’s dedication to excellence in sterile production. The tour emphasized the importance of design-driven quality and advanced manufacturing processes.
