The central impression (CI) technology used during flexo printing makes it a particularly effective method for printing on thin elastic material such as film for hygienic packaging. It also has a further unbeatable advantage – fast printing of water-based inks, both on paper and plastic film. Additionally, flexo machines have quick changeover sleeve systems that make them productive and cost-efficient and therefore the best option for short print runs.
