RIECKERMANN SIGNS STRATEGIC AGREEMENT WITH HOA BINH GROUP

The agreement was signed in Hanoi on October 15, 2025, by Anton Lovrec, General Director of Rieckermann Vietnam, and Nguyen Huu Duong, Chairman of Hoa Binh Group. This collaboration marks a significant step in the development of elevated highways and viaduct systems that not only optimize construction efficiency and material use but also reduce environmental impact.

Central to this innovation are the prestressed hollow core slabs, engineered with pretensioned steel strands to boost strength, durability, and long-term cost-effectiveness. This was demonstrated in a pilot project by the Hoa Binh Group, whereby an experimental highway segment was completed in December 2023. By reducing reliance on traditional sand embankments, these prestressed slabs offer greater design flexibility and minimized environmental impact. Furthermore, the new method enables the creation of multi-use spaces beneath the highways, maximizing land utilization for compact and efficient urban development.

Chairman Nguyen Huu Duong emphasized the importance of innovation in addressing Vietnam’s infrastructure challenges, particularly in light of recent flooding events. “I have invested in this new technology to support the state, helping Vietnam use resources more efficiently while advancing a modern highway system that boosts economic growth and attracts investment,” he stated.
