Rieckermann recently hosted a seminar on “The Future of Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) Production” at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to strengthen their positioning as a reliable industrial solution provider in Pharmaceuticals with probably the smartest mix in the industry. The seminar was held on March 18, 2019 at the Hotel Nikko Saigon.
This was their third installment of the OSD seminar, with the first being held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on March 14 and the second in Jakarta, Indonesia on September 26, 2018. The seminar was a platform for building their professional network within the local market and sharing the latest, innovative technologies offered by their in-house experts and partners.
The series of presentations commenced with Rieckermann sharing their insights into the latest trends and innovations in the market. They then handed over the floor to their partners to speak about modern multi-versatile granulation suites from R&D to large-scale production; new technology tablet presses: multi-layer, multiple unit pellet system (MUPS), and direct compression; modular uphill tablet dedusting; development and improvement of capsule filling; and solutions for issues in blistering and cartoning. The final presentation for the day was titled “From machine unloading to preventive maintenance” and followed with an expert panel discussion.
To ensure that all participants were fully and continuously engaged, the seminar was interactive, with 3D videos as well as a live machine demonstration of a deduster conducted by one of Rieckermann’s partners. Every presentation was also translated into Vietnamese and broadcasted simultaneously to every member of the audience through headsets.
