Rieckermann is pleased to announce a new cooperation with Simon Carves Engineering Ltd for the polymer industry. Simon Carves is a full-service Process Engineering Contractor of the ECI Group, a consulting firm with extensive experience in polymer processes (for HPPE, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP) and specialized high-pressure equipment.
ECI is one of the leading companies when it comes to brownfield projects in LDPE, and through this new cooperation, Rieckermann benefits from a higher involvement in projects with existing plants as opposed to mostly greenfield projects. This is not only by supplying dedicated equipment, but also in the early stages when clients are reviewing their processes and considering capacity expansion, product optimization, or simply the debottlenecking of production.
With this, Rieckermann hopes to become established as an active player in LDPE for the following scope of brownfield projects:
- Operations & maintenance support
- Improvements
- Specific Debottleneck/Retrofit Opportunities for Reactors
- Rehabilitations
- Capacity expansion
- World scale plants
The cooperation agreement, which covers the countries China, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam, was signed on September 6, 2019 during the second day of an Oil and Gas Workshop conducted by Rieckermann in Shanghai, China. Since then, Rieckermann is pleased to already commence work on several brownfield projects in China and wish to explore further project opportunities with LDPE producers as well as key PP producers.
