Showcasing the latest sustainable solutions in plastics at K2022

Recently held at Messe Düsseldorf in Germany, the K2022 show once again gathered industry leaders and experts to exchange ideas in person. At this event Rieckermann showcased their latest solutions in the plastics industry for more efficient, convenient, and sustainable processes at Hall 12, booth A19.

Along with their team of experts and partners, Rieckermann highlighted their decades of industry experience through several key topics. For extrusion, the company provided customers with information on developments in blown film technologies, specifically using recycled materials for POD lines, cast film lines for stretch film, and CPP/CPE/barrier film. Similarly, Rieckermann also explored the latest trends and technological solutions in plastic recycling for optimized processes. In addition, aspects of flexoprinting, cooling systems, and solvent recycling were featured, all with an emphasis on sustainable and cost-effective manufacturing methods. These solutions covered the whole lifecycle of industrial projects, including state-of-the art manufacturing machinery and equipment, as well as customized consultations to guide customers in meeting their unique business needs.

To complement these on-site activities, customers were presented with live demonstrations of the technologies relevant to the featured key topics at Rieckermann’s partners’ booths.

K2022 took place from October 19 to 26 this year, with the eight-day long event receiving a massive participation of 3,037 exhibitors and 176,000 visitors from 157 nations across all continents. Widely regarded as the world’s number one trade show for plastics and rubber, the event is organized only once every three years.
