RIECKERMANN HOSTS PHARMA TECHNOLOGIES INNOVATION FORUM
Sparking growth for Vietnam’s pharma industry with technology forum and expert panel
Rieckermann wrapped up their inaugural Pharma Technologies Innovation Forum with incredible participation of visitors and industry representatives in Vietnam. The two-day event brought together over 300 industry experts who were eager to network and share their expertise in the country’s pharmaceutical production and engineering segments.
Rieckermann Vietnam’s General Director, Felix Niesmann, officially opened the event. This was then followed by keynote speeches delivered respectively by Simon Kreye (Deputy Head of Mission and Head of Economic Section at the German Embassy in Hanoi) and EuroCham’s Vietnam Board Member, Fanny Haniquaut (Sanofi). Both speakers highlighted the crucial role of German companies and other European-based industry players as strategic partners in supporting the growth of Vietnam’s pharma segments.
State-of-the-art technology exhibitions and numerous specialized industry lectures provided participants with the opportunity to discover various industry solutions offered by Rieckermann and their partners. Focus areas included solutions for EU-GMP certification and several key topics covered by the Pharma 4.0 digital framework. These are specialized technologies intended to improve the safety and efficiency of Vietnam’s pharma production, such as:
- Sustainable green factory design
- Fully automated production lines
- Innovative warehousing & logistics solutions
- Integrated track & trace systems
- AI-supported inspection operations
A panel discussion was also held at the event, presenting in-depth insights into the growing pharma industry in Vietnam and its surrounding regions. The segment featured prestigious experts including Rieckermann’s own Quality Director, Zarina Noordin; Sanofi’s Head of Industrial Affairs Vietnam, Fanny Haniquaut; Bayer’s Country Managing Director Vietnam, Ingo Brandenburg; Imexpharm’s Deputy General Manager, Le Van Nha Phuong; and Glatt Group’s Head of Sales & Service, Klaus Nicolajsen Moeller. The session was moderated by Rieckermann Vietnam’s Division Manager for Food & Pharma Technologies, Matthias Ehrtmann.
The Rieckermann Pharma Technologies Innovation Forum was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from April 18 to 19, 2023 and attended by 18 of the company’s international partners. Several of the latest pharma processing machines from Europe, the United States, and more were also at display.
