RIECKERMANN AT INTERMOLD THAILAND 2023
Highlighting comprehensive solutions for the mold & die industry
For the first time ever, Rieckermann participated in this year’s InterMold Thailand show with their own exhibition stand at the event. This participation was part of their Metal Processing division’s strategy to grow and establish their long-term business in the Thai market. Held in Bangkok from June 21 to 24, the event involved the presentation of a number of solutions:
- Rough milling, deep hole ELB drilling
- High speed cutting (HSC)
- Electric discharge machining (EDM)
- Surface grinding & hardening
Together with their experts and partners, Rieckermann welcomed numerous prospective customers from the die & mold industry to introduce their dedicated value propositions. These included cutting-edge technology and process know-how intended for machining and surface finishing. Through these dedicated solutions, customers will be able to stay competitive – fulfilling rising demands for quality production in a price-sensitive market environment.
On-site engagements gave Rieckermann the opportunity to inform prospective customers of the potential of reducing the wear of EDM electrodes by half, while increasing the surface finishing up to VDI 8 class. The company also highlighted a highly efficient milling and deep hole drilling technology, which reduces production lead time for a quicker response to shifting market demands. Moreover, mold manufacturers can improve the quality of their product, reduce re-working operations, and fine-tune testing during final assembly through the use of Rieckermann’s competitive flat grinding technology and smart spotting press equipment. They can also benefit from a globally patented metal diffusion hardening process, which increases the number of injection shots up to three times the conventional amount. This helps empower potential clients to become innovators in the mold manufacturing market in their own right.

InterMold Thailand 2023 is an annual gathering where providers of over 250 leading brands of mold and die manufacturing, repair, and maintenance solutions, measuring and testing tools, and more, including 3D printing technology, meet with buyers from the mold-making community. The event recently entered its 30th year on the scene and had been dubbed as ASEAN’s most comprehensive exhibition on mold & die components manufacturing technology.
