Rieckermann Thailand hosts the first of three seminars focusing on modern printing and converting technologies
In response to the packaging industry’s growing demand for advanced production-enhancing solutions, Rieckermann launched their Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Packaging seminar series, of which the inaugural session had recently taken place in Bangkok, Thailand. With a focus on sustainability, efficiency, and versatility, the event brought together several Rieckermann’s esteemed partners, as well as numerous industry experts and regional representatives.
Notable highlights at the event included keynote presentations delivered by expert representatives from Rieckermann and their partnering companies, delving deep into topics such as:
- Sustainable packaging with an emphasis on carbon footprint to achieve NetZero goals, and VOC & CO2 emission controls
- Effective solutions for recycling of solvents
- Gravure printing, lamination & CI flexo printing in packaging conversion
- Mono-material packaging solutions, such as recyclable pouch-making technologies
The one-day agenda also covered panel discussions and Q&A sessions, allowing attendees to actively engage with the speakers from DEC, KOHLI, SOMA, D.W. Renzmann, Zhoutai, Bureau Veritas, Carbonwize, Henkel and Thai Nam, and gain valuable insights. In addition, attendees enjoyed a technology exhibit by participating partners, which served as a first-hand look into the latest offerings for players in the packaging segment. For attendees wishing to commemorate the day, a professional photographer was also available to take their photos.
Having welcomed about 150 participants, the event was a resounding success. “We are thrilled by the overwhelming response to our first ‘Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Packaging’ seminar here in Bangkok,” remarked Marcus Grundke, Managing Director, Rieckermann Thailand. “This enthusiastic turnout clearly demonstrates the significant interest and demand for sustainable and efficient solutions in the packaging market.”
Hosted at the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel on November 12, this seminar marked the first in a series of three, each focusing on different topics relevant to the market requirements of the local packaging industry. Following the Bangkok seminar, the next sessions are scheduled for November 14 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and November 19 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
