Celebrating successes and opportunities at the 6th Rieckermann Oil & Gas Workshop
Recently held at the RuMa Hotel and Residences located in Kuala Lumpur’s golden triangle, the 6th Rieckermann Oil & Gas Workshop brought together internal experts and representatives of partnering companies in an information-packed event. The workshop served as a platform to share industry insights, trends, and success stories, as well as recent discoveries in technology and opportunities in the Oil & Gas market.
Rieckermann’s Head of Oil & Gas industry kicked off the workshop by providing insights into the industry and its upcoming strategy. Notably, Rieckermann recently expanded their Oil & Gas operations in India due to the growing activity in this sector, with rapid engagements predicted for the industry in the next few years.
This opening was followed by presentations of success stories from Indonesia, Malaysia, and China. Subsequent sessions headed by several of the company’s Oil & Gas experts highlighted latest technology developments and sourcing, envisioning potential breakthroughs in the industry for the company. Another focal point of the workshop was the integration of Rieckermann’s technical services division and global trade finance services initiative into industry activities, which would further enhance the company’s service offerings.
The next two days of the workshop welcomed exclusive talks on related industry technologies by Rieckermann’s three key partners. With portfolios dedicated to various segments of the Oil & Gas industry, the presentations underlined joint activities between Rieckermann and their close suppliers, as well as in-depth know-how transfer and exchanges. Following discussions also considered the market trends and developments within the Oil & Gas industry, with the aim of further strengthening the execution of existing and upcoming projects.
The 6th Rieckermann Oil & Gas Workshop was organized by Rieckermann’s Oil & Gas department, backed up by the country team from the local Malaysia office. Held from February 7 to 10, 2023, the workshop marked a return to direct industry exchanges after the long pandemic break.
