GMP COMPLIANCE INSIGHTS AT HKPC SEMINAR 2026 

Rieckermann expert helps manufacturers navigate Hong Kong’s latest PIC/S PE009-17 requirements 

Gerald Wu, Senior Area Sales Director at Rieckermann, recently delivered a presentation at the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) seminar, “The Triple Threat of PIC/S PE009-17: Mastering Pharma, Food, and Machine Compliance”. The event brought together quality, production, engineering, and compliance professionals from pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and radiopharmaceutical companies to discuss the implications of PIC/S PE009-17, Hong Kong’s latest mandatory Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standard. 

As companies prepare for compliance upgrades, the seminar provided practical guidance on meeting evolving regulatory requirements. In particular, Gerald Wu shared key considerations for GMP-compliant equipment and highlighted practical solutions that can help manufacturers adapt efficiently to the latest regulatory expectations. Drawing on Rieckermann’s extensive experience in pharmaceutical engineering and compliance consulting, he addressed challenges commonly faced during facility upgrades and compliance-driven investments.
